@roavalos_ and I are wrapping up our 4th US tour. Over the years, we have been very fortunate to have come across tango organizers who have supported us and listened to our music....organizers like @matthewseneca of @tangoclt , @audreyrajoria of @guardiaviejaatx , @danielpeters and Pier Voulkous of @dome , @amanda.fiddolin and @enchilin28 of @cutangomusic , Lindsey Newbold of La Bruja Milonga, and on this tour Yidi Wu of @elonuniversity , and finally @andiandbrian of Andi-Longa in Boston. Last night at Andi's milonga, we received the warmest welcome by tango dancers who were willing and open to experience something new. I want to take a moment to recognize these organizers, because they take on a big financial risk hiring us. We don't bring out big crowds, we play Bach and contemporary tangos. Only now are we playing danceable music...in large part due to these organizers' encouragement. I never expected to play for milongas with the duo. It's just the two of us. It's hard to dance to one type of instrument. It requires another type of listening by the dancer. Thank you all for your support. I can't express enough what it means to us as artists. Finally, a special thanks to our audience and hosts who feed us, give us rides, and open your home to us. We love getting to know each of you. We have one more concert in NYC on the 23rd at @artxnyc . We hope to see you there.

We had an amazing time working with the tango students of @elonuniversity . We are especially grateful to Professor Yidi Wu, who curated a complete experience. The students learned about "Today's Women in Tango: Carving Out Spaces," they learned all about the bandoneon, had an intro chacarera class, attended their first milonga, and experienced live tango music. It was an intense but extremely rewarding day. Thank you for all the great energy!
