4–6 May 2026 Prallaxen Look through a viewfinder. What you see is never quite what the lens captures. This small displacement — Parallax — is not an error so much as a condition. What remains is a fragile distance — between us, the world, the other, ourselves. We are honored to exhibit our new videowork at @fundacion.ludwig.de.cuba ! MegatrashwannabebigstarXD This work is based on a catalogue of questions from Leandra on identity and the digital self. They were answered by an uncensored chatbot, trained on five years of Elisa’s private chat histories. Two synthetic voices — one a clone of early Paris Hilton, the other of an offenbach based rapper — read the resulting interview. Their conversation reflects digital experiences shaped by self-performance, fragmentation, technological overreach and emotional distance. Dieser Abend widmet sich KI & Sexismus und findet in Kooperation mit der Hochschule Mainz, einem unserer KITeGG-Verbundpartner, in Mainz statt. Ava Leandra Kleber, Studentin an der HfG Offenbach, zeigt anhand ihrer Arbeiten, wie KI-Systeme Teil patriarchaler und unterdrückender Strukturen sind. Anthropomorphisierte KI wird zu einem sozialen Akteur: Wie wir sie gestalten, benennen und nutzen, spiegelt gesellschaftliche Strukturen wider. Was bedeutet es, wenn Maschinen menschliche Eigenschaften und Körperbilder reproduzieren? Embodied AI – als Social Robots wird künstlicher Intelligenz ein physischer Körper gegeben. Sexroboter verdeutlichen, wie Misogynie durch Technologie normalisiert wird. Gewalt an artifiziellen Körpern wirft Fragen auf: Welche Auswirkungen haben sie auf reale Geschlechterdynamiken und Machtverhältnisse? Wie kann man als Feminist:in mit KI (künstlerisch) arbeiten? Lisa Oelsen, Studentin im MA Kommunikationsdesign an der Hochschule Mainz thematisiert in ihrem Beitrag »Sprache, Sexismus und KI« Wechselwirkungen von Sprache, KI und Gesellschaft. Sprache ist ein Abbild unserer Gesellschaft und diese sollte sich auch in ihr widerspiegeln. Künstliche Intelligenz hält unserer Gesellschaft einen Spiegel vor und betont die Ungereimtheiten, auf die wir als Gesellschaft und somit auch in unserer Sprache stoßen. Welche Rolle spielt die Sprache der Künstlichen Intelligenz selbst und wie groß ist der Einfluss unserer Sprache im Umgang mit ihr? Lea Waldera, Studentin im MA Kommunikationsdesign an der Hochschule Mainz, analysiert mit uns in dem Workshop »Risiken und Nebenwirkungen – Die Pille für die KI« Probleme wie Gender Data Gap, Coded Bias, männliche Algorithmen und die damit einhergehenden Probleme in unserer Nutzung von KI. Sie zeigt dass die Probleme für Flinta Personen deutlich umfangreicher und schwerwiegender sind als für Männer. We are thrilled to welcome Ava Leandra Kleber @ava.leandra to Correlations – Forum for AI in Art and Design! Her talk offers a reflective walkthrough of the many bodies encountered while working with AI systems, focusing on personal experiences of sexism and bias in and around AI. Ava Leandra Kleber will guide us through the perception of women and womanhood in post-internet society, examining their representation within AI frameworks. She will address the ethical considerations of working with extreme datasets and the systemic biases that shape AI systems, while also reflecting on personal accountability in navigating these issues.
