Asking whether humans will reach a point at which A.I. is used to create tools for manual extraction — tools that, in turn, enable the further expansion of A.I. itself — this speculative loop is made tangible through three symbolic manual tools generated by two different machine learning models. Staged within a temporary extraction site, the objects oscillate between speculative artefacts and archaic instruments.
