A new Japanese restaurant opening up in Anguilla. It was fun combining the two cultures in a subtle and tasteful way. I had fun messing around with a few ideas for this.
Thank you @dangelogumbs for trusting me with your vision x

DESIGNED IN TW3⚡️
Avs is a designer @av.makes and DJ @sehmiskimmed from Hounslow, West London— the same area where the founders of Bombay Jungle first built their name.
Hounslow was a key hub for South-Asian creativity in the late 80’s and 90’s, and a hangout spot. The first conversations @djmatticus_impact and @markstrippel took place while working weekend jobs in The Treaty Centre at 19 years old. Both were already playing local parties as Impact and Maximum NRG.
DJ Mitz @hustlers_convention from nearby Hanwell had a strong connection to the area and worked with Mark on pioneering music magazine Apna Beat around 1991/92, just off Hounslow High St, alongside @bobbyfricton
Hustlers Convention rapper Mandeep went to Lampton School with Mark. Matt had booked Hustlers Convention for an earlier party at The Wag Club. The connections are deep and multi-layered, and Hounslow played its part.
30 years on, growing up in West London often lacked the space for creative encouragement and music, and Avs always felt she’d just missed the era where Panjabi’s broke through the underground scene.
But that Hounslow environment carried its own flavour — a certain type of experience, resilience and rhythm that shaped her sound and design sensibility.
Now part of a new wave of collectives celebrating Asian and Panjabi creativity, Avs brings both her visual and musical worlds together to honour that legacy. Being involved in the resurgence of Bombay Jungle feels like a full-circle moment — a chance to contribute to something deeply rooted in the culture that raised her.
When approached to create the new Bombay Jungle logo, Avs aimed for authenticity — treating it as a thoughtful refresh rather than a redesign.
Drawing inspiration from old Bombay Jungle posters and other underground artwork from the era, she kept the original spirit alive through colour, texture, and nostalgia.

A new wellness brand providing services to corporate entities. Had fun creating a symbol, and variations of the logo layout 🌸
A look back at pictures I’ve taken throughout my career 📸
After studying filmmaking for uni and scrambling trying to find a job, I never left the house without my camera. It was my one consistent, my security for a long time.
I originally made this asset to showcase my work for @dhaga______ and thought why not share it!

Dates poster for the 🐐 @lordporte !
➡️ for the process x
This was a funnn one to work on, Porte wanted a poster that was unique, quirky and something that hasn’t been done before, while also reflecting him authentically.
It was a cool challenge to have, I took inspo from a pic I took of @djbalt and used it to place the gig info! I thought the composition worked really well and I got to test out illustration skills ✏️🤓
Porte preferred the one without the ladies hand! I thought it added some sass 💅
Love working with people that give me space to add my creative input. Looking forward to creating some more assets ✨
Come join me as I’ll be speaking with @dhaga______ about how to navigate creative chaos.
Sharing parts of my journey and the lessons that I’ve learnt along the way. Looking forward to see you there.✨✨✨
Thank you @sarith.r______ 🫶🏽💕🌸

Couldn’t be happier with the incredible and thoughtful design of the logo by @av.makes ✍🏽
Once again @rolandak.jpg came clean with the shot 📸
