Thank you @bbc6music & @craigcharlesfunkandsoul for having us on today 🫶 Following an incredible freewriting workshop last Thursday with @nikkaayyy_c , join us this Saturday for our free collage workshop on ‘Taking Up Space in The City’ and film screening of ‘Discovering Kali’ @olddiorama from 12-4pm. @_www.sarith.art_ and @aarancyan will be hosting the collage workshop to help explore the future of Queer South Asian existence in Camden and the city - centring our dreams and wishes for a future on Camley Street informed by our collective and individual histories and queer and trans identities.   This incredible work will inspire and inform a collaborative mural for the Camley Street Underpass installed early next year. The Connecting Camley Street artwork programme is an initiative run by Camden Council that aims for people local to the Camley Street to have a genuine voice over the future of Camley Street. @camleystreet @wemakecamden   ‘Discovering Kali’ is a short film hosted by the @nazandmattfoundation celebrating the legendary Club Kali @clubkali - a safe space for the Queer South Asian community for over 25 years. The film screening is open to wider audiences from beyond Camden as well and there will be delicious food by HENNA Asian Women’s Group with the Bengali Women’s Forum.

@hennaasianwomen  will also be available throughout the day providing support on voter registration.   ————-

We’re so excited to FINALLY officially announce the winners AND runners up of the Creative Legacy Grant 2024/25!
