Shot on the new iPhone 16 Pro, ‘Mud,’ is a stills and motion project visualizing the resilient spirit and the legacy it leaves.
I grew up studying my mom. I mirrored her mannerisms and unrelenting drive. The same drive that allowed her to build Motorola phones at night on an assembly line, to teach pre-school by day and to get her bachelors degree in the afternoons and weekends while caring for me by herself.
As my childhood friends and peers begin their lives as young parents, I’ve been fascinated by the idea of resilience. Of what we leave our children, what we model for our friends and what has been left to us.
What matters isn’t just an individual’s story but the legacy it creates for their loved ones both in inspiring them and building something out of mud, blood and bone for the future.
‘Mud,’ was made possible by receiving early access to the #iphone16pro from the homies @apple . #shotoniphone #iphone16
