Public Enemy, 1988 By @the_chris_buck • Editioned Prints Available Here and Nowhere Else. About the Work: “After graduating college, I worked for a year as a photo editor for a Canadian music magazine called Graffiti. It was just part-time, and it paid terribly, but it was a great way to put off the scary proposition of being a full-time photographer. I was pretty good about not taking all of the best assignments, but occasionally I would pull rank and give myself something special. We had played the first Public Enemy album often in the Graffiti office, so when the second one came out, there was a ready audience for this masterpiece. It got repeated play at the office, and on my Walkman, so I couldn’t have been more excited when they went on tour that summer. I shot this picture in a narrow hallway in the backstage area of the venue, with my Metz flash shooting through an umbrella on a modest stand. An early and simple attempt at “lighting.” Amazingly, it worked.” - Chris Buck #publicenemy#musicartists#walldecor#editionedprints#photographyprintschrisbuckphotography

Taylor Street, Photographed by @peteraaron San Francisco, California, 1982 “On the way to an architectural photography assignment, I saw an astounding sight: the facade of a residential building being painted in the style of an abstract expressionist artwork. I pulled out my 4×5 view camera from the trunk of my car and made several black and white pictures. I later learned that the building was being waterproofed with tar, but the graphic, abstract, and surrealist nature of this picture makes it one of my favorite images.” Editioned Prints Available Here & Nowhere Else. #peteraaron#editionedprints#architecture#wallart#walldecorattacurated

📷 ATTA Artist Feature: Brooke Nipar is a photographer & director renowned for vibrant, clean imagery and bold depiction of color. Nipar’s approach to photography balances edginess with polish, and the subjects of her photographs frequently possess a unique blend of elegance and grit. The result is a body of work that is at once timeless and classic, yet undeniably contemporary and modern. “I photographed Amy Winehouse in NYC in 2007, for a magazine I was making with some friends at the time called ‘MISSBEHAVE.’ Amy–who was already somewhat famous in the UK but just starting to gain notoriety in the US– was kind, soft spoken and very witty. She didn’t want anyone to touch her hair or makeup; she arrived on set with both done already. I decided on a simple studio portrait setup, and shot entirely on film. I think she looks beautiful in these images. Our shoot together was short and sweet, but these portraits of Amy are still some of my favorite pictures I’ve ever shot. Whenever I’m asked who my favorite person was to photographer, I always say ‘Amy Winehouse.’” –Brooke Nipar @brookenipar

✨New Release✨ ‘Hot Air Balloon Ride at Dawn’ Fine Art Photography print by @eccles 📍 Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya, Africa 📸 “This photograph is the result of a rare moment where I was indeed in the right place at the right time. A moment when you see everything aligning for the perfect composition and you try to move as quickly as you can to get a single frame before it’s gone. Fortunately, I was able to do just that—make this single image.” - Andrew Eccles #landscape#interiordesign#walldecor#photographyprint#fineartprintandrewecclesphotography

✨Our Newest Addition from our Photographer @frankoudeman . 📸 ISLAND O428-086, 2023. Editioned Print Available Here & Nowhere Else. Shop on the link in our bio 🔗 📍 Frank Oudeman’s work challenges photography’s presumed qualities of stillness, fixedness, and instantaneity. Focusing on real-world scenes, he uses multiple exposures to fragment the photographic surface and disrupt the idea of a singular moment or a unitary point of view. By recording recognizable features successively and from different perspectives, he frees them from their specific spatial reality. He uses reflective surfaces to pull peripheral imagery into the frame, collapsing multiple spaces and times into a single image. With simple modifications to his camera, he composes and assembles legible but incongruous bits of space, color, form, and light. #walldecor #interiordesign #fineartphotography #ATTA #FrankOudeman
