Dot Comics #1 is finally available online! go on and click my buttons, you can find it. a collection of comics I did over the last few years in my dot journal, a tool that many people use to be organized with to-do lists and charts and things, I just used it to make easy panels with no rulers and make comics anywhere in a notebook. It includes strips about time, making comics, selling comics, "hourly comics" from 2021 and 2022, and a trilogy of names many people have called me recently- ("Pony Man", "Berry Boy", and "Spider"- all of which are comics that contain musical numbers, a new area I've been exploring in the comics reading experience (the experience of being read these comics can be replicated by videos in my new youtube /@atpratt )- this experience of hearing the "music" is optional and the traditional reading of your copy of the comic is still entirely sufficient and to many presumably preferrable. Spider is the final longer story and contains an extended 4 layer pop-up fold-out sequence as we descend into the underground realm of the spiders. 60 pages of the dot journal were used- 46 are reproduced as flat pages here, and the rest are the pop-up spread that folds out into 3 tall pop-up fold-out spreads. I had the great honor to do my final Big Broadway Musical live performance pop-up presentation of the touring production of Big Apple Matinee at Brooklyn Academy of Music @bam_brooklyn (BAM @ BAM) on Friday the 13th before BloodTheatre as part of Cashiers du Cinema presents Cinema du Cashiers. Thank you to @fathers_puka_shells.exe and @david_crdza for having my reading as part of the series and David for this footage! So cool for me to get to do a live comics reading in a movie theater, not to mention such a great theater, on Friday the 13th, before BLOOD THEATRE! So yes, it was the final time in the foreseeable future I’ll read Big Apple Matinee live (pending my career-spanning “Areas Tour” wherein I will revisit all areas of my sprawling oeuvre), but .. I come to you this afternoon at the dawn of a new era. Tonight I will unlock the next chapter in my series of live comic book reading presentation experiences, as part of an all star lineup at Frog Farm 11 @frogfarm.online . This new prix fixe presentation is the live debut of a new musical arrangement with an original composition for xylophone of the never before seen (in the U.S.) international sensation “Bompi’s Bounce House” (Bompi Baby Bouncy Bubble Bumper #3), as well as my @kramcomix anthology contribution “Experimental Comix”, and.. for the very first time, I will be performing the entirety of the AlphabeT in the form of my long awaited, often thought to be merely the stuff of legend: Action Baby Comics Animal Alphabet. Big Apple Matinee was selected to be in @svacontinued SVA Continuing Ed’s Zine (Winter/Spring Issue #3)! Thank you to my @risolab Minicomics instructor @wrenmcdonald for submitting it! THIS FRIDAY (THE 13Th) will be the FINAL LIVE PERFORMANCE OF (the big Broadway musical live experience of) BIG APPLE MATINEE! Taking place at BROOKLYN ACADEMY of MUSIC (BAM @ BAM) preceding the 7:30 showing of BLOOD THEATRE as part of CASHIERS DU CINEMA presents “CINEMA DU CASHIERS”! my reading will also include some of my contributions to the Cashiers zine as well as some remastered selections from the past. I never posted to my grid my 3 snakes for @grumpybert ‘s Red Envelope Show of last year. My brother in law has a tradition of building a new magic the gathering deck themed around each animal of the Lunar New Year, so I created these 10 snake tokens as a Christmas present for him to represent snakes in the game when he uses his snakes deck.

She is an exceptionally loyal and hardworking studio assistant, but she also has plenty of time to relax in her busy schedule .
