The Hungries got an early taste of one of Oslo’s most exciting new openings – @stranden30.oslo by chef Atli Màr Yngvason (Katla, Pjoltergeist). Just a few days after they opened their doors, we took over Vågen – the intimate tasting menu space – for a special evening put together just for us.
In addition to the full set menu, the team also served up a few of their favorite à la carte dishes from Hekla, their more casual restaurant next door. Bold flavors, lots of fire, and influences from Bali, South Korea, and Thailand. Scallops with curry and the pepper crab were among the standout dishes.
