A special feature of this project is the cellar. In order to address air conditioning and electrical services above, we constructed an independent room within a room, providing the cellar with its own roof and wall structure. Working in consultation with the cellar equipment supplier, we installed insulation, a ply substrate, oak wall and ceiling lining boards and bespoke black metal return air cover. A recessed blind pellet was also installed above the double glazed window and door unit
