Music Video of the Week: Emergency by Abraham French, directed by @aspect_sergio ⁠ ⁠ The video follows two disenfranchised firefighters navigating the bustling streets of Camberwell in response to a dollhouse fire. This fever dream incorporates animal costumes, dynamic landscapes, and a unique perspective achieved through body rigs, culminating in a fiery climax.⁠ ⁠ Shot during the height of summer, the production embraced spontaneity, capturing the dollhouse fire in a single take without any resets. The decision to shoot at a higher frame rate added a heroic and epic scale to the visuals.  When faced with a quick turnaround from concept to execution, on a limited budget, one always asks the inevitable… “Why don’t we just shoot it all in one take?” 
And that’s what we did… backwards. Absolute pleasure having the kid, @joeekennedy_ , on the glass again, impressing with some very nimble camera work and putting all us weaklings to shame operating a Ronin4D on his ones all day 🎥. Thanks @junction.rentals for the kit 🙏. Kudos to our protagonist @hamishfrew for his dexterity having to act backwards, @mariana.feliziani for her amazing SFX and to the goated @kidcircus for nailing the manic, Hopper-esque photojournalist (the horror) 🐐. A lot of challenges faced on the this one: Running around fields in heavy body rigs at peak summer. Taking over a Camberwell high street that we definitely had permits for. And, of course not, burning down the whole of tinder-dry Surrey. Got it all done in the end so a huge thank you to the crew for not only realising the vision, but completely elevating it!
