Canon 1014 XL-S now available to rent.
Released in 1979, the 1014 XL-S represents the pinnacle of super 8 camera technology. Its built in lens has a focal range of 6.5- 65mm, T1.4, and it also has a macro function.
The XL in its name stands for ‘existing light’ and refers to the cameras great low light performance capabilities.
You can shoot in either 1, 9, 18, 24 or 36 fps and the camera allows for manual or automatic fade-ins and fade-outs, with a variable shutter adjustable between 150 and 220 degrees.

The Sony flagship VENICE 2 features an incredible 8.6K full frame sensor capable of sampling down to 4K S35.
With a dual native ISO of 800/3200 and 16+ stops of dynamic range, it has an oustanding flexibility to suite all needs on set.
The VENICE 2 also boasts an 8-step mechanical ND filter system ranging from 0.3 to 2.4.
Saving on size and weight the Venice 2 has done away with the R7 recorder from its predecessor and now allows all formats to be recorded to the now native AXSM cards.
MCX Films Kazakhstan edition
Something very special loading from Jenny Brough's Unseen Faces series
2024 saw @jenny__brough and DOP @peter.bishoppp take our cameras to Senegal.
In 2025 it was Kazakhstan's turn to host MCX. Featuring eagle hunters, wrestlers and archery (on a horse) and thousands of miles across the golden steppe in 4x4's.
We can't wait to see the final movie and photos created for this project.
