On 19 December, @ashbela.and.friends invite you to “Hanukkah Backflip feat. Alona Rodeh” at 19:30 and 21:00. Join them for a night-time walk and a light installation in celebration of Hanukkah, concluding the series “The High Holidays of 5786”. ℹ️ The number of participants is limited. Please register via email at [email protected] until 16 December, including your preferred time (19:30 or 21:00) and the subject line “Hanukkah Backflip”. Hanukkah is the holiday of light. As the weather gets colder and the sky darker, Jewish people get together around the “Hanukkia” – the traditional candelabra, for eight nights. They gradually add candles in a symbolic act that uplifts hope and community during the cold season. The night walk and an audio-visual intervention on Gropius Bau’s back façade are led by @ashbela and longtime collaborator, visual artist @alona_rodeh . 📍Meeting Point: Möckernstraße 25, 10963 Berlin • • • Am 19. Dezember laden euch @ashbela.and.friends zu „Hanukkah Backflip feat. Alona Rodeh” um 19:30 und 21:00 Uhr ein, einem nächtlichen Spaziergang und einer Lichtinstallation anlässlich von Chanukka und zum Abschluss der Reihe „The High Holidays of 5786”. ℹ️ Die Teilnehmer*innen-Anzahl ist begrenzt. Bitte meldet euch bis spätestens 16. Dezember mit Angabe zur gewünschten Uhrzeit (19:30 oder 21:00) und des Betreffs „Hanukkah Backflip“ per E-Mail an [email protected] an. Chanukka ist das Fest des Lichts.
