We're thrilled to announce the very first collab between our two collectives, both of whom focus on the UK sound: uplifting 4x4 UKG, Rolling 2-step heaters to deep n' heavy bass.
The showdown will take part on May 7th at the newly renovated Système, where the two crews will go head to head on the decks. Switching off every hour to meet one another's signature sound. The party will end with an hectic b6b between all the DJs.

Deep Bass & Deep Connection
Runa and Asha are a duo originally from Toronto whose partnership is rooted in over 10 years of friendship. They are the founders of Ether with @miasalav , a collective centered around bass-forward and diasporic sounds; they're drawn to music that feels immersive, percussive, and emotionally resonant. Their selections often blur lines between genres, guided less by category and more by feeling.
"We decided to approach this mix as two halves of one shared feeling under the theme *Deep Bass & Deep Connection*. A kind of Side A / Side B format, Runa takes the first 30 minutes, Asha carries the last, distinct in voice, but rooted in the same emotional space."
