back from our winter slumber, ether brings its signature exploration of bass-driven music to système for a special night celebrating the venue’s re-opening. curated and performed by the collective’s own @runydoo , @asha.tm , and @miasalav , the evening promises a blend of heavy low-end, rhythmic experimentation, and dancefloor-focused selections.

ether’s MIASALAV and Asha are clocking in early this sunday to open the ether gates 𖦹°‧★
two toronto troublemakers now wreaking bass havoc in montreal — expect genre slippage, percussion sorcery, and a collective case of bounce.
snag ur early entrance tix before they’re gone, this one’s gonna be loopy ☆
next upppp we have CPR Annieꨄ︎, a true selector whose sets are always fresh and inspiring
CPR Annie is dedicated to giving the dancefloor the kiss of life it deserves.
unbound by specific genres and eras, she curates mixes that are free of formulaic thinking. on describing her sound, CPR Annie prefers to let the machines talk and asserts that she has nothing more to say through the art of the written word.
we are so excited to see what low-end selects she is going to bring to the ether…

we’re soooo excited to welcome one of our favorite montreal-based producers, and one of our very good friends, slowtekkkkker SIM (@sim_mtl ) <3
SIM is a producer and researcher working at the intersection of electronic music, sound system culture, and social practice. known for coining the term “slow tech” to describe his unique approach to sound, SIM blends artistic practice with academic research to reshape the conversation around sound system culture and electronic music—pushing genre boundaries and expanding cultural dialogue on a global scale. as a concept, slow tech reflects SIM’s commitment to using music as a space for reflection, connection, and resistance. it draws from both the dancefloor and the listening room, bringing together the heavy, grounded energy of dancehall and dub with the precise, hypnotic qualities of techno and minimalism.
through both his music and his research, SIM is creating space for different ways of being, listening, and healing—reminding us that slowness, when intentional, can be a powerful tool for transformation.
join us this sunday for SIM’s live set, guaranteed to get ya dancing lowwwww

we’re beyond excited to finally welcome one of our favourite artist duos @sharusound (@ma_sha_music + @ru.cavazzini ) to the ether.
Sha Ru creations are fueled by perpetual motion, moving through techno, breakbeat, dubstep, and drum’n’bass. “we’re always moving from place to place; our music equipment is always in the luggage,” says Masha.
an ever-evolving pair in constant flux, Sha Ru are always discovering new iterations of themselves. future-facing, bass-heavy loops and reverberating vocals mark a new chapter — one defined by autonomy, intimacy, and experimentation. by exploring their rich interior worlds, they create not only sound, but a space for protest, solidarity, and deep connection.
we can’t wait for Sha Ru to bring their high-voltage energy live set to the dance floor — we’ve been working on making this one happen for a long time so definitely not one to miss! ★
not that this space needs much of an introduction… but with just 10 days to go, we wanted to share a few words about our home for the next edition of ether ★
for volume two, we’re bringing the ether into parquette — montréal’s newest diy club space. since opening their doors only a few months ago, parquette has already become a cornerstone of the city’s contemporary nightlife. from their monthly 24-hour party flip, to thursday night drink and draws, to art galleries and dance workshops, the space has quickly grown into a community hub — a blank slate for organizers of all kinds to bring their ideas to life.
once an abandoned gym, the venue now features a spacious, well-lit dance floor perfect for a day party, a cozy main floor complete with a café, and an incredible upstairs area outfitted with hammocks and beanbags — ideal for those looking to just hang out.
in a space like this, ether becomes more than just a day party — it’s your adult playground. come spend the day, shop the art market, grab a bite, lounge upstairs, meet someone new, and squeeze in a cheeky dance (or two).

testing out a different party format, this time we bring the ether into the daytime. dance, play, eat and chat, we leave the program up to you. the setting: parquette, the backdrop, a cool dusk on a november sunday. a mix of live and dj sets woven intricately together, creating the margins of the tapestry we invite you to fill in.
