As the nation commemorates its 250th anniversary, we’re launching Seeds of Resilience: The Story of Long Beach to celebrate the local histories, cultures, and communities that have shaped Long Beach across generations. ✨
It all comes to life in a free community activation day on September 22, 2026, bringing together artists, historians, community organizations, and residents through art, performances, cultural projects, and storytelling.
Artists and community organizations are invited to apply for microgrants to participate. Selected participants may receive $500–$1,500 to host a booth or present a storytelling, history, art, or cultural project. 🗓️Applications close July 6 🔗Learn more and apply: artslb.org/long-beach-story
