Reserve your spot on one of our curator-led tours today! On Thursday, May 14, join Hall Rockefeller @all.the.lady.artists , Founder of Less Than Half @_lessthanhalf , for a curated walk-through of Future Fair spotlighting women artists presented by “Less Than Half Approved” galleries—those representing 50% or more women and non-male artists. Drawing on her work advancing greater equity in the art world, this tour offers a focused lens on building meaningful connections with a new generation of artists and rethinking the role of the collector as an active patron, or matron, of the arts. On Friday, May 15, join us for a guided walk-through of Future Fair, led by Lauren Hirshfield @artfreaky_ , art writer and curator, highlighting standout presentations from across the fair. This tour offers an accessible introduction to the fair, with curated stops that provide insight into key works, artists, and themes—designed for both seasoned collectors and those new to the art world. This tour offers a thoughtful entry point into that experience, highlighting the voices and ideas defining the fair today. RSVP & details at the link in bio. Please Note: Attendees must show either a purchased ticket or a Future Fair VIP pass for entry. Purchase advance tickets or buy them at the fair entrance. #FiveYearsofFuture Cover works: Slide 2: Colette LaVette, Prey, 2026. Natural oil pigment on linen, 60x60 cm. More art (always art) of late, including works I like (there aren’t many 🫢) from the Whitney Biennial (TY @zoealexanderfisher for last night’s invite!) 1. @gabrielaxruiz monster of a sculpture “Homo Machina (Man Machine or Gay Machine)” at the Whitney Biennial. Love that saccharine slime green 🦠 2. @samiahalaby ’s mesmerizing “kinetic paintings” at the Whitney Biennial are actually custom digital code and are pure abstract genius - and made in the 80s! 3. @ravenhalfmoon with one of her two ceramic sculptures at the Whitney Biennial. No explanation needed 💯 (so nice meeting you Raven!) 4. #SarahMRodriguez aluminum sculptures got me good. It was the first artworks I took a photo of at the Biennial. Reaaaally tasty details 5. Dylan Musler @dylgoyle ritual/regal/tomb? sculpture at the first @huntercollege MFA thesis show. So much symbolism and story. Love a good myth! 6. @cocoma.studio sculpture at the Hunter thesis show - projects warped audio of her mom and aunts through speakers that ripple the ink water pools. The three together are haunting and sacred 7. Vanessa Wallace-Gonzales @livingrelic at the Hunter thesis show - beautiful install; the bells had lots of little pools of water scented like rose! 8. @corinnebeardsley in good company in the “Terrestrial Extra” Hudson Valley Artists show at @dorskymuseum . Always a fan of her clay bodies 9. E. Saffronia Downing @_saffr0nia_ at the Dorsky show - really happy to see a piece that belongs on the floor, getting to live fully on the floor! 10. A surprise @erikhfoss above the check in desk at the Dorsky. Permanent collection FTW 👏👏 11. Kenneth Curwood @mordencage kinetic piece in the show “Expired” curated by @roxannewolanczyk for the @apexartnyc open call. I’m a sucker for a very clever, very well fabricated piece 🐍 12. A ceramic vessel from @roxannewolanczyk sits next to Kenny’s wall piece in her show - the quiet simplicity of the line “drawings” in the clay make its message all the more powerful 13. Another from the Biennial, caught a frame from a beautifully installed video
