on may 24th we are hosting a sunday full of live music from a selection of our Berlin-based artists, alongside a couple of favourite international acts. we’re super lucky to have everyone on board shaping something perfect for the chin-scratchers, head-rollers, and slack-jawed braindancers.
forget shoegaze, navelgaze, immersive haze but bring on the squinted-gaze: that feeling of “I’m struggling to perceive everything I’m hearing, but I like it.” a new kind of bassface haha, for the ambi club deep-listeners.
we encourage you to leave the pretension at home and come chill, but without the need for nonchalance.

Hey friends, just wanted to thank you for the way you welcomed Post Ambient Lux.
This album grew out of a movement that is still unfolding. I’m still inside these transitions, between cities, states and temporary spaces, carrying this shifting sense of not having a home. In that fluidity, sound has become the only place that stays with me.
This year has been productive for my sound practice, shaped not by stability but by its absence. Working with sound helped me hold onto what feels essential, even when the external kept dissolving.
Seeing Post Ambient Lux appear in your beautiful mixes, radioshows, playlists and publications has meant a lot. I’m grateful to every magazine, blog and radio host who brought these tracks into their own narratives. It feels like the album continues its path through your ways of listening.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this real, for the care and precision, and especially to @appendix.files for the support and the gentle guidance throughout the release.
Warmly, ♾️

xin’s WASTED lands on Appendix.files with nine pieces that drag the club through a compost heap of
trash(ed) recordings, corroded basslines and scraps of rave memory, forming a porous archive of dance
music’s residues.
