PROJECT AWARD | Glenroy Private School Stage 2 🏫📚
We’re proud to share that we have been awarded the delivery of Glenroy Private Stage 2. This exciting project will see the addition of a new two‑level senior science facility, adjoining the Stage 1 building completed by APM in late 2024. The building will feature a blend of metal and brick cladding and will accommodate twelve new classrooms, office and meeting areas, amenities, breakout corridors, extensive landscaping and a new carpark for the school.
We’re excited to continue our partnership with Glenroy Private and @mcildowiepartners , helping to deliver meaningful spaces for students and the wider Glenroy community.

Delivering a new chapter for Ascot Vale Library 📚🏗️
APM Group is proud to have delivered the redevelopment of the Ascot Vale Library for Moonee Valley City Council.
The original single-storey library at 165–167 Union Road had been a much-loved community fixture for around 50 years but offered small, cramped spaces and limited amenities.
Under Heritage Overlay requirements, our team retained the early 1900s external façade while completing both soft and hard demolition works, paving the way for the reconstruction of a modern, two-level facility featuring:
🔹General library collection areas
🔹Dedicated children’s collection & learning area
🔹Community meeting & multipurpose rooms
🔹Public computer facilities
🔹Landscaped external decking & balcony areas
🔹Upgraded accessible amenities for community use including dedicated ‘changing places’ facility
Through close consultation with project stakeholders during construction, we navigated design changes, overcame early challenges, and delivered the project six weeks ahead of schedule.
Now open to the public, the revitalised library provides a wide range of children’s programs and serves as a vibrant community hub for learning, connection and engagement.

Remember when APM Group partnered with the University of Melbourne to deliver a transformative three level extension and refurbishment of their Victoria College of the Arts Campus Library 📚
This project involved structural demo, a full internal strip-out and complete fit-out of key spaces, including the library, computer labs and student kitchen, all while the surrounding university remained fully operational. The existing teaching space and temporary library had to stay active until late 2018, making minimal disruption essential.
Despite the challenges, the project was delivered on time, within budget and with a finish that exceeded expectations, forming a strong and trusted working relationship between APM Group and University of Melbourne.

PROJECT COMMENCEMENT: CROYDON GROVE AGED CARE
The first sod was socially turned at our latest aged care project for @opalhealthcare in May this year. The ceremony was attended by the project team and directors of APM Group (Aust) Pty Ltd as well as representatives of Opal Care, the consultant team and dignatories including Deputy Mayor of @maroondahcitycouncil Paul MacDonald signifying the commencement of works on site.
When complete the facility will feature views over Croydon to the Dandenong Ranges, offering 128 rooms situated over four levels and features a central social hub with café and wellness centre.
Works are now in full swing on site with the recent erection of the tower crane as we close in on the first major concrete pour.

PROJECT AWARD: SUMMERSET CRANBOURNE NORTH
APM Group (Aust) Pty Ltd are proud to announce our appointment by Summerset Retirement Villages to construct their new aged care and assisted living development within their new retirement village at Cranbourne North.
The project incorporates 72 residential aged care rooms over two levels, with a further 33 assisted living apartments over 3 levels as well as shared community facilities featuring a bowling green and indoor swimming pool.

APM Group are excited to announce that our project, St Bernard's College - Seniors Learning Centre secured the Excellence in Commercial Construction $10M - $15M Award at Friday nights Master Builders Association of Victoria Excellence in Construction Awards.
Constructed into the sites sloping topography utilising a bored pier retention system, the building is situated across three levels and comprises ground floor teaching offices and open plan learning areas and two further levels of classrooms arranged around a central amphitheatre with feature ‘stalactite’ ceiling purposely designed for the schools seniors cohort.
We thank our client St Bernard's College for the opportunity to delivery this fantastic facility in collaboration with Matthew Pearce MPPM Project Management and Architects BALDASSO CORTESE.

Yesterday morning, Ascot Vale Library hosted a sod-turning ceremony to officially mark the commencement of its major renovation. Special guests included the Honorable Minister Danny Pearson, Moonee Valley CEO Helen Sui, Mayor Cr Pierce Tyson, Cr Narelle Sharpe, Cr Rose Iser, and Cr Samantha Byrne. Members of the library team also attended alongside project managers and other Council staff. 👷🏽♀️🛠👷🏼♂️
The internal demolition is now complete, and rebuilding will soon begin. The revitalised library is expected to be completed by late 2025, providing an enhanced space for the community with nearly triple the floor space.

AWARD NOMINATION: 351 ELIZABETH ST
APM Group are proud to announce the nomination of 351 Elizabeth St in the @masterbuildersvic Excellence in Construction Awards 2024.
Located on the corner of Elizabeth and La Trobe Streets in Melbournes CBD the project comprised the construction of an additional sixth floor atop an existing five level art deco building, the refurbishment and re-fit of levels 2-5 creating new open plan office spaces, the creation of retail space to the ground floor and the expansion of the existing basement. Externally extensive works were undertaken to refurbish and restore the buildings significant facade.
