Next Friday, join us at Aplomb Gallery for the opening reception for Spectrum! Enjoy light refreshments while you view the exhibition, featuring 20 artists spanning traditional oil and acrylic painting to experimental mixed media incorporating materials such as metal, wool, and ceramic.
Exhibiting artists:

Spectrum explores the full meaning of its title. Through color, material, and subject matter, the exhibition reflects both the visual spectrum and the wide range of human emotional experience, including the layered realities of healing, resilience, and trauma.
Juror Carson Jackson expresses:
“As I selected the work for Spectrum, I was drawn to pieces that felt honest. Where color wasn’t just seen, but felt. This exhibition is a collection of perspectives, each one revealing a different point along the spectrum of human experience.”
Rooted in the mission of The Aplomb Project, the exhibition embraces a trauma-informed perspective, recognizing that experiences exist along a spectrum and that creative expression can offer a pathway toward processing, connection, and meaning-making.
A suggested donation of $10 supports The Aplomb Project, a nonprofit dedicated to providing expressive arts programming for trauma survivors.
