We’ve been working on this one for a while and are very happy to finally put it out into the world and open applications. we have been building something via Doors Open @doorsopenjobs and the amazing team at Leland @leland__co inspired by conversations, research, and our many talented musician friends who deserve more support. Touring is more expensive than ever, streaming barely pays and burnout is common. At the same time, many of the opportunities and budgets within wider media industries still circulate amongst relatively small networks with existing access and contacts, rather than the huge amount of incredible talent actively shaping underground music culture. So we wanted to create something practical that opens up new pathways and alternative income streams for artists, beyond relying purely on gigs. This isn’t about replacing touring or releasing records, but about opening up new creative outlets, building more sustainable careers and helping more authentic voices move into spaces like film, TV, gaming and brands from artists genuinely contributing to the cultures being represented. UNLOCKED: Artists with Leland is a free programme for independent electronic musicians exploring music for film, TV, documentaries, brands, gaming and wider media through real briefs, mentorship and industry insight. Huge thank you to Abi and Toby at Leland and Alex, Isla and Gaby @gabsdann @160dlstudios for helping bring this to life ❤️ Big love to the team @amyvanbaaren + @iona.t Applications are now open and close Wednesday 27th May. Please feel free to share, we would love this to reach as far as possible. link in my bio

And it don’t stop! You know how we do by now, just because we had a rager the night before doesn’t mean we won’t just get straight back on the horse and get on the march right into the new year with another fat all day into night! It’s somewhat a ritual by now, and it’s for the stamina crew, somewhere light and airy, to dance away the scaries. Our annual NYD this year comes as a two parter.  Part one, we have two of London deepest selectors and Giant Steps affiliates, Andy Lemay & Eliphino who will easing us in nice through hip hop, neo soul, jazz and more through funk, house and beyond. Celestial meditations for you to meditate on.  For part two we welcome back Round About who team up with our in house crew and bring along KT and Grace Sands for the ride for those who want to carry on post-Adonis and Art of Dark. We don’t stop ‘til you stop, last him, her, them standing. Let’s go!  Free so early risers, slowly rising in price as the tempo does. Come early stay late, what else you gonna do on a damn bank holiday x

Hello! This time next week some friends and I are cycling 270km from London to Amsterdam over 2 days in support of @bridgesformusic as part of the @resident_advisor advisor cycle team. Bridges for Music are an amazing organisation based in South Africa that empowers young creatives in under-served communities through programs focused on creative entrepreneurship, well-being and music. Donations will fund support for young people at the Bridges Academy in the township of Langa in Cape Town. Students will have access to new after-school programs, daily food, counselling and mindfulness support. There is a donation link in my IG bio for ayone able to donate, its hugely appreciated. Thanks so much, x

🚴🏾‍♂️ We’re cycling to Amsterdam for ADE (@amsterdamdanceevent ) to raise money for Bridges for Music (@bridgesformusic ) , supporting education and opportunities for young people across underserved communities. It’s a big ol’ ride, but an even bigger cause that we need your help to reach our goal and raise lots of cash. Every donation counts, and you can find out more and support the journey via the link in the Jumbi bio. Big love from Andy, Nathanael, Rudi ❤️‍🔥

Earlier this month, we hosted Dig Deep, a pop-up charity record store and fundriaser in Leeds in collaboration with our friends at Cosmic Slop and Audio-Technica. The day raised over £8,000 for War Child and MAP Charity, bringing Dig Deep’s total to over £26,000 raised for War Child and local causes over the three events. A drop in the ocean of what the world needs but a heartfelt thanks to the many people reading who have supported so far.💜 The Leeds edition may have been my favourite yet. Firstly, 19 years later and I’m still working with my great friend Tom Smith aka Cosmic Tom. It was Held at Hope House, the shop had over 3,500 donated records from Bleep, Juno, BBE, Melodies International, and 100+ artists and labels. By night, the legendary space and soundsystem transformed into a sold-out Cosmic Slop fundraiser, with Floating Points playing all night. Every penny went to War Child and MAP Charity, supporting children affected by conflict and young people at risk of exclusion. Huge thanks to @floatingpoints @tashlc @nathanael_colours , @andrewdevine4u , @dj_subaru , and all the residents for soundtracking the daytime session — plus Audio-Technica, DHL, and everyone who donated, danced, and dug through the crates. Special shouts to the best @amyvanbaaren @iona.t We will be hosting one more Dig Deep event this year and news coming very soon. Photos by Don @gwil_doe
