Today makes my last day as a director of @leedsneg and I’ve marked ir by helping to put together an incredible panel of speakers at this years @_launchpadmusic festival happening today at the School of Music at @leedsbeckett ⭐️ We welcome @musys_ as our host, @matt_long_ , Hazel from the mighty @3d_productionsltd , @cocobops__ from the best club night in Leeds @gbosanights as well as the incredible @angelleemusic to speak on our topic Does Money Move The Dancefloor? It’s totally free to come along and all information can be found on the @_launchpadmusic page 🗺️ Working as part of this organisation has been such an eye opening experience and getting to rub shoulders and learn for some of the best and brightest minds in Leeds has been such a wonderful experience. Working with yous has been such a pleasure and hoping to see LNEG go from strength to strength in the years to come 🌒

10 years ago I walked into @belgravemusichall and asked @colmhinds was there any jobs going. Little did I know just how much this place would change my life. Monday 30th March is my last day with the @superfriendzlds crew as I am moving on to a new challenge after the most exciting time in my life. From parties, interviews, covid lockdowns, parties in yet to be open Ramen shops, live streams from toilets, film screenings, interviewing James Acaster, running festivals, walking Theo Parrish around Kirkgate Market, getting sober in the middle of it all, travelling, playing records every weekend and meeting some of my best friends and partner - @belgravemusichall and @headrowhouse mean more to me that most people could understand. To cap it all off, I will be throwing a big party this Friday night on the terrace at @headrowhouse from 5pm where all my pals will be playing all night long. If you’ve ever been along to a party, played records for me or just hung out I’d love to see you along ❤️ My final day I’ll be hosting a final Listening Group at @belgravemusichall where we will be listening to Revolver by The Beatles and Dig Your Own Hole by The Chemical Brothers with blindfolds on and a whole pile of incense burning: bliss 😭 From April 1st you can call me Club Bookings Manager at @newcenturymcr . Making my pilgrimage to the furthest south I think I’ve ever been - and my first ever @butlinsbigweekenders expedition 🏖️ @itsachampagneproblem makes it debut at the first festival of the year. I can confirm they will performing on Sunday on the Puppet Castle from 17:30 - 19:00. I cannot confirm that I am part of this project however my lawyers have advised against me saying that I am not. What I can say is that @buggedoutclub have fucking great taste, and I beleive we’re going to have a fantastic weekend. I can say that. @bichonmum420 get the Volkswagen Up filled - we’re off on a summer holiday 👙

Last night was a dream 🥹 Thank you so much to the @0800disco crew for once again trusting me with your baby and I hope I did you proud! It was a magical evening with amazing music from @baby.mauritius , @noiakb and @dj_dirty_muck ❤️ Taking videos in the hallowed halls of @h0peh0use is a little naughty but @__blu.dream__ sent me this and I couldn’t not share it. Disco comes in all sizes and shapes and this track is a cover of a traditional Irish folk tune “King of the Fairies” from an LP released in 1974 by the Irish group Horslips called Dancehall Sweethearts. To think of the amount of turmoil in our country at that time, these guys were playing dance halls up and down the island entertaining the young Irish contingent. I have heard first hand from my parents of legendary sessions in The Culdaff Arms so being able to share this music and continue the legacy of the band over 50 years since the record was released was a real trip - getting teary just thinking about it again 🥺 @0800disco forever - more Horslips in the club 🎈
