What drives you in your practice?
This is one of the first questions I ask practices navigating a rebrand. And I’m glad that leads to such meaningful conversations.
Because purpose is what roots a brand.
Purpose grounds decision-making, builds trust, and creates emotional connection. When purpose is clear, brand identity becomes an expression of something deeper.
Design then becomes a reflection of purpose, not simply aesthetics.

I rarely have the opportunity to use a script typeface in a project, but for Burrow Lane, it made perfect sense.
Meddon, the handwritten script typeface, introduces warmth and emotion, reminiscent of a note left behind or a maker’s mark. This is balanced by Arsenal, a clean, timeless typeface that grounds the brand in functionality and longevity.
The result is a brand that feels intimate and purposeful, celebrating craft and thoughtful design.

Burrow Lane’s identity is built around the idea of ‘elevated everyday living’. Acting as a considered filter in an overwhelming online marketplace, Burrow Lane curates objects that transform daily rituals into moments of appreciation.
The visual identity reflects this sensibility. The logo expresses a passion for excellently made objects: the monogram is generous and tactile, referencing craftsmanship and care, while the wordmark is modern and intentional, communicating sophistication and a strong curatorial point of view.
Graphic elements draw from the idea of keyholes and frames, revealing, focusing, and inviting the viewer into Burrow Lane’s curated world.
