When I was asked if VERSUS wanted to interview Grace Clinton, it was an immediate yes. When I suggested using black and white portraiture and styling Grace head-to-toe in Y-3, it was an even bigger YES. Forever grateful to work with amazingly talented people to create work like this and even more grateful to work with the likes of @tanika1993 who just “get it”. The most exciting young player in English women’s football has officially stepped out of the shadows and is embracing the limelight.

I spoke with CK almost three years ago to the very day ahead of the last Euros. So it’s a little serendipitous to link up with her again before next month’s tournament. To say this was a labour of love, my word. 48 hrs ago we’d just wrapped in the studio! But when something is worth pushing through, you push with all you’ve got to get it over the line. When I first joined @versus I told my team about wanting to change how women’s football was presented. I wanted us to apply the same production and creativity levels to our women’s football content, as our men’s. And I can honestly say, that’s what we’ve done this past year or so. This shoot with @manutdwomen x @adidasfootball is one of my faves. Fair enough the players who were shot were absolute STARS on set, but these shots are out of this world. Not every day you get the chance to shoot the most handsome man in football. I spoke with Riccardo Calafiori about his haircare routine, being compared to Maldini and whether he prefers boxers or briefs in our latest VERSUS editorial. Arsenal’s throwback centre-back is football’s ‘Renaissance Man’. Inspired by iconic 2000s Attitude-esque moments that had the likes of Ljungberg and Becks pinned to boys’ and girls’ walls, I took the concept to @morganallann who brought it to life with @cellisphototo .

Wrote some words about why the Lionesses need a statue…IMMEDIATELY.
We all know it should’ve happened back in 2022 but when there are more statues of animals in the UK than women - what a fun fact - what do we honestly expect? It’d be a total travesty if this team’s historic achievements were to be overlooked, again.
What the Lionesses have done for the game can’t be understated. Just build the statue. Please! Or I’ll build it myself.

Words I never thought I’d say, and I know for a fact, words 11-year-old me on slide 2 would never think she’d say.
I’m speaking with some of the most amazing women who work in football about their journeys, all in the hope of inspiring others to pursue a career in the sport too.
Writers, photographers, creative strategists, casting agents, producers, content creators. There are so many avenues in football for women to take. The sport is more than big enough for us. And our involvement makes it the best version it can be.
From teaching history in Newham to leading the biggest platform in football culture. If I can do it, I guarantee you can too.

Spent 48hrs in Zurich with the most incredible people to cheer on the Lionesses for their Euros opener. Unmatched views. My new obsession is padel. Baby Citroën. Women supporting women. @nikefootball giving me moments and memories younger me could only dream of.
Earlier this year Hamza Choudhury reached out to help him break the news that he’d be making the official switch to represent Bangladesh. I jumped in the car, made the trip to Leicester and met one of the nicest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of connecting with in football. He also happened to have the cutest cat in the world (see final pic). These moments are always special but when you’re trusted to break an exclusive like this, it’s nothing short of an honour.
