Hello. Today @amaranth_todd and I are sharing with you 2 new pieces of music under the moniker Bifloral. We’ve been working together on so many things for a while now, we felt it was only appropriate to give us a shared name. Amanita / Remedi were made without a premeditated concept, but these are my reflections — these songs materialized by giving voice to the darker parts of our heart. I feel moments of self loathing, misery and desperation in both theme and articulation. Hyperglitch by nature has a tendency to make one feel like their internal self is being ripped apart. But there’s often a lot of beauty left behind, shared in remnants that contain multitudes. I think there’s some hope there, but I haven’t quite characterized it yet. Design made in @touchdesigner . Both spectrograms overlayed with a generative mycelium themed animation inspired by @elekktronaut (we love fungus over here). Extra love to @spiritsofseagulls . Link in bio to listen.
