in addition to this series paying homage to my endless love of potty humor and bathroom decor, a lot of these photos are informed by personal experience with chronic illness, the loss of agency that comes along with it, and the bathroom as a prime site of care and how simultaneously lovely and humiliating and silly it can be to receive such intimate care~~ i’m still feeling endlessly thankful to those who helped me realize this vision thru this project ! 💜
