what a time of transformation, but also of settling in. feeling so grateful for the ways getting medicated has opened up so many new ways to be well and integrated and myself. and how moving through, getting close to, and really being with processes of personal grief and collective grief have so thoroughly cracked me open and put me together again, and again.
🌸 Very happy with my new Flexcut micro palm set carving tools! My fave has been the FR803 which is 1mm across and has a sharp 45° angle. In the past I've been discouraged with the lack of precision and control while using the basic Speedball interchangeable tool ($8), so the investment in the pack of 4 new, higher quality tools ($65) feels validating - especially working at a small scale like this 4x6 print.
🌸 I'm getting more patient with my own creative practice, especially in allowing myself to flow from one medium to another as my interest and excitement organically shifts. Wheeeewf. ✨🌝✨
