🥇Season opener, and it delivered. Two weeks ago at the first Waszp event — big gusts, huge shifts, and a proper test from the start. Came away with the 7.5 category win🥇 and a solid way to kick things off. Plenty more to come this summer — racing, travel, and good battles ahead. Thanks to DN Marine, Sailing Fast, Rooster, and Performance Academy for the support.❤️

Blue skies. Flat water. February… and it felt like mid-July. 🌊☀️ One of those rare winter weekends where everything just clicks — good breeze, good battles, and even better people. Massive sessions with the Athena Squad & Athena Racing Team U18s pushing hard, learning loads, and loving every second of it. Cold mornings, building pressure, spray flying — and the Rooster kit absolutely nailed it. Perfect for these crisp February conditions, but honestly built for all conditions. When you’re comfortable, you’re fast. 🔥 Days like this are what it’s all about. 💙 Big thank you to @d_n_marine @sailingfastuk @sailingfast_dunc @roosterkit for the support — couldn’t do these weekends without you. Roll on the next one. ⛵🔥 @d_n_marine @sailingfastuk @sailingfast_dunc @roosterkit #AthenaSquad #AthenaRacing #WinterSailing #ChasingSpeed #AlexJSailing

2025 was a year that moved fast — maybe too fast to fully take in while it was happening. Sailing at the highest level in dinghy racing, pushing every day to be better, chasing the next start, the next shift, the next goal. Somewhere in between, I solo-travelled around France by bike, learned a lot about patience and perspective, and somehow stood on top of the podium at both the World and National Championships. I don’t naturally look back — I’m usually already focused on what’s next — but this year deserves a pause. Looking ahead to next year, the goal is to slow things down a little. To really take in what’s been achieved, the places I get to see, and just how fortunate this life is. I don’t want these moments to blur past or be forgotten — I want to feel them, remember them, and carry them forward. Grateful for the people, places, and moments that shaped it, and proud of the work that went in when no one was watching. Onwards, but taking this one in. Thank you for caring❤️
