Excited to welcome @honourtattoo to Brutal Waves for a Britain to Berlin b2b 👉
Austin Honour is an artist and tattooer and sometimes musician. His practice centres on found imagery drawn from archives, art history, and online culture, translated through cropping, distortion, and repetition where images shift between formats and contexts, moving from archive to paint to body.
His music taste varies but typically leans toward post punk, new wave, coldwave, and ambient/drone and classical. For this radio spot, expect a mix of minimal synth, atmospheric electronics, and slower, textured tracks.

We’ll be deep diving into this year’s AE program, unpacking the vision behind the festival, chatting through the incredible selection of artists and exploring what makes this event such a vital force in the experimental and contemporary music scene.
Expect an hour of sounds exclusively from artists featuring on the lineup.
Delighted this festival in being held in Walyalup (Fremantle) this year, May 1 - May 3 at Victoria Hall.

Inspired by the many years we both lived in cold Northern climates, the show will delve sonically into the dark and glacial. Vibes that will make you want to pull your hood up, zip up your black puffer jacket, stare out the window of a London night bus and navigate the dark foggy streets home.
