A collaborative playlist of milking songs from the Hebrides, Irish harp, obscure role-play computer game music named after a book of Welsh mythology, milking rhythms, cosmic Celtic folklore and my mother’s copy of the soundtrack to A Clockwork Orange. Taking Bláithín Mac Donnell’s work ‘The Rock and The Hard Place’ as a jumping-off point—part of Artist’s Bars presented by @kittyfiner :
‘…a group show, where for one night shift only the bar is the work of art, the artist is the bartender and the spectator is the punter.’ Bláithín’s bar will be serving up sticks of rock alongside drinks drawn from stories of Bullaun stones, marble in river beds and milk spills.

What if our memories and collective knowledge were recorded, rewound, then re-recorded on to
mouldy VHS tape? Legend Extension II offers space to consider contagious non-conscious
mimicry, slanted personal history, misinterpretation and to excavate anecdotal facts - skewed as
they are repeated time and time again. With crude 3D animation and archival footage featuring
the artist’s aunty, at times we find ourselves inside the dark recesses of a video tape cassette,
as if exploring the corners of a pixelated 64-bit computer game.

Putting some records together for Other Voices, Cardigan ( @othervoiceslive ) Oct 30 - Nov 01. Sort of taking The Pyramid Scheme ( @noodsradio ) on the road, but without the yapping. There will be more records than this of course, I just ran out of things to put on top of them. Expect mostly No Wave, New Wave, Mutant Disco and Post-punk for the dancefloor. I’ll be somewhere in @theatrmwldan on Thursday night, come and say ‘Hello’ or ’Could you turn it down please’ or whatever it is people usually say to DJs.
