Alaskan Tapes, the project of Toronto-based Brady Kendall, brings a long-standing focus on space, texture, and emotional resonance, with previous Juno nominations for Music Video of the Year. Blu Miles adds a less conventional saxophone language shaped outside formal training. Direct, grounded, and deliberately unforced.

Back in October we were at Chalet studios in Pickering, Ontario working on the structure and arrangements for some of the tracks off the new album. This was one of them.. 'Oversky' is one of my favourite tracks of all time, and I always knew I wanted to cover it and with @bluuumiles in the mix, I knew it was the time.

Little bit of story time!
I’ve been listening to @polyenso in one form or another since I was 16, they quite literally have shaped my life.
A few years ago I reached out to their Brennan to work on a track (as @alaskantapes ) and we started chatting a bunch, what ended up coming of that was Holocene which came out last year.
One thing I could never do though was get their records on vinyl, the were sparse, and timing had to be perfect to grab one off discogs or eBay, so I asked them if I could reissue one.. turns out Pure In The Plastic is turning 10 on April 1st, so they allowed me to press the 10 year anniversary edition! As well as my all time favourite One Big Particular Loop!
We put them up a couple of days ago, and they’re almost sold out. Definitely head to our bio and make sure you pick up the records before they’re gone!
Orders will be shipped out around April 9th!
