This Thursday on AfriWoman Chats, we’re in conversation with Babatunde Fakolade, Founder & Mentor at No Code Data Hub @no.code.data.hub . As conversations around AI, data and digital transformation continue to shape the future of work, this discussion focuses on access: who gets to participate, who gets left behind, and what meaningful inclusion can look like in practice. Babatunde joins us to reflect on no-code careers, digital pathways, and the importance of creating opportunities for underrepresented and immigrant communities to enter the data and tech space without traditional barriers. A conversation on skills, systems and the future of digital participation. Thursday 14 May 2026 11:00 AM (UK) Host: @afriwoman 📻 Listen live on DAB, online and mobile

In the 70s, #Zamrock was the soundtrack to a Zambian revolution. It was music that blended garage-rock energy with deep African rhythms to create something entirely its own. Among those at the centre of this movement was W.I.T.C.H aka @weintendtocausehavoc . In recent years, the genre and the band have seen a significant shift through international tours and intergenerational collaborations. Emmanuel “Jagari” Chanda remains the high-voltage heart of that movement today, serving as a living bridge between the independence era and the modern day. The story continued after the records went out of print. Through collaborations with the likes of Amanaz, @sampa_the_great , Theresa Ng’ambi, and Nico Mauskoviç, Zamrock is being rewritten in real-time. Sheffield witnessed this explosion on 6th May at @sidneyandmatilda and we packaged this little gift for you. *Rights note: Performance footage captured by African Voices Platform at WITCH live in Sheffield. Music and performance rights remain with the respective artists and rights holders. Shared for cultural and editorial coverage.
