Hello Fam,
Have you heard: be gentle as a dove; but wise as serpent? Let's talk about it.
How do you navigate negativity in your space? Applying wisdom and diplomacy when people shows they don't want you.
Could you a stranger, at work, in your family or business. How should you respond?
Join me now on the radio today 📻
Yesterday, I experienced a little glimpse of heaven's hug in a parking lot. 🚗🌸💕
I found a flower attached to my door handle and a card with two messages that hit me right in the heart:
💧 "You are fully seen and fully loved."
💧 "You've been prayed for."
I don't know who left it, but this act of kindness was a beautiful reminder of how God’s love operates. It isn't conditional. It isn't distant. It reaches us right where we are and oftentimes when we least expect it, but exactly when we need it most. It’s a love that goes the distance, leaving no one unseen.
God's love is amazing. Reaching us in the parking lots of life, in the quiet moments, sometimes through the hands of strangers. It’s far-reaching, never-ending, and always on time.
To my anonymous angel: Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus today. You turned a regular Monday evening into a memory I’ll hold onto. 🤍
Let’s all try to be a little more like this stranger. You never know who needs to be reminded that they are loved. 🌿

Tomorrow on African Voices Platform Radio
At 11:30am we welcome Jasbirr Grover, writer and creative producer, and author of Reflection of Life, marking its first anniversary this month. Her work began with doodles: small attempts to hold feeling still long enough to understand it. Those sketches became poems, and the poems became a practice of memory.
Arriving in Sheffield at 50 as an international student, she went on to complete an MA in Creative Writing at Sheffield Hallam University.
Her poetry traces heritage, migration, faith and everyday life where language, food, family and place quietly carry history forward. In her collection, she describes writing as an act of survival and reflection, a way of turning silence into voice .
We’ll talk about starting again in midlife, the relationship between identity and language, and why poetry can function as care.

And so much more.
Then, there was this story about Mrs Adebayo and her son Tunde who arrived at 2am with a mysterious bags, followed by a police appearance.
