Kidz to Adultz is one of the UK’s largest free events dedicated to children and young people with
disabilities and additional needs. The event will welcome families, carers and professionals from across the region for a day of expert advice, practical support and inclusive opportunities.

This event is a collaboration of organisations supporting Aerobility’s mission to provide accessible flying experiences and aviation activities to all whilst also bringing disability awareness and inclusion to Doncaster Sheffield Airport’s re-opening.

Let’s hear it for our three incredible London Marathon runners — Simon, Matt, and Jess, who delivered truly inspiring performances on Sunday!
While our fourth runner sadly couldn’t take part this year due to a last-minute injury (we’re rooting for you next year!), this amazing team have collectively raised over £10,000 for Aerobility!!
We’re so grateful for the dedication, commitment, and hard work each of you put into both your training and fundraising. No doubt there are a few sore muscles this week… make sure you enjoy every bit of that well-earned glory!
Our Junior Aviation course class at our Tatenhill base recently enjoyed an inspiring visit to the Aerozone at East Midlands Airport.
The Aerozone specialises in creating tailored, interactive experiences, with role play zones that allowed the students to step into airport scenarios and explore the possible career opportunities available in a fun and engaging way, sparking ambitions.

Our Aviation Education Programme Class recently enjoyed a visit from @petairuk , who delivered an engaging session on how they specialise in the safe and professional transportation of animals by air.
Students learned about the care, planning, and expertise required, as well as the important role aviation plays in connecting people and their pets across the world.
This visit highlighted an important message: whatever your passion, whether it’s animals, engineering, customer care, or logistics, there’s a place for you in the aviation industry.

Wednesday 22nd April our Chairman Mark Sugden MBE was invited by Phil Anderton, the founder of ADHD360, to visit Sturgate Airfield in Lincolnshire to meet up with some of the young neurodivergent pilots that Phil coaches through their aviation journey. Graced with clear blue skies, it was a privilege to witness Archie Read (Diagnosed ADHD and Autism) plan and then fly his navigation flight as part of his private pilot qualification and go flying with Toby Goodale (ADHD and a qualified pilot) in the Lincoln Aero Club’s Piper PA 28 and Adam Driffill (Diagnosed autism and a qualified pilot and instructor) in his part owned Piper L4 club - an aircraft that served in WW2 in the Italy campaign.
Suggs said afterwards “I sometimes forget how much pleasure flying brings to people and I’ve never met more enthusiastic pilots, who were so completely in their element.”
Phil Anderton said “having Mark here was a huge morale boost for these lads. They are so competent and content, flying brings out the very best in them all. The system is often against them but they continue to thrive, succeed and lead their best lives. With the Mark Long Trust and other organisations like Aerobility we can make a huge difference for people that want fly and need to overcome either visible or invisible challenges. What a proud night this was”.
