Endless Spill is back with another night centering the human breath and voice in all of its mutations, in a combination of live performance, and deep listening and dance DJs sets from some of the most expressive artists we know, up close and at their weird best. For this edition we’ll have a narrative DJ set from ciénaga, followed by live performances from Madison Greenstone, G.O.M.A., and Enereph. Doors are at 7 with a deep listening session by ES resident aka-Sol while high vibrational vegetarian food will be available to purchase and set you right for the night. On Thursday, April 23, @blisspointnyc will take over the gorgeous system at the @publicrecordsnyc Sound Room to showcase the present and future of the imprint. This will be the official release show of @maxinthe_world & @kingkroba - 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝑶𝒇 𝑭𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 1, released on Bliss Point earlier this year. The duo will perform the record in full, stretching and expanding its sonics into something live and alive. Before Max In The World & Kroba, listeners will be treated to an hour long live set from @ma.tuk , a new signee to the Bliss Point label. Matük’s live sets have become a thing of lore over the past year in New York, melting rooms into psychedelic technicolor as he did at the 𝑭𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝑶𝒇 𝑩𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒔 anniversary party in December, or slowing hearts and bodies with sexy, downtempo lusciousness at January’s @leisure_emporium Before the live sets, the room will be blessed by the vinyl sorcery of DJ SYNCLAIRE, a duo comprised of Bliss Point artist family @nemahan_______ and @aele___ , fresh off gigs and digs in Cleveland and Detroit. Here is the tea: I’ve been, and I am as of lately in a somehow rough financial moment. Combined with the regular bills that have to be monthly paid. I am also in the (not cheap)process of renewing that piece of plastic (green card) that allows ME! as an “alien” to stay here doing those magical things that I do 🧚🏼‍♀️💩 As much I always had resisted the idea of asking for things as I know this city is not ez to live in and everyone here is busting their asses too; the urgency of the situation has show me that right now I need the help from my community more than ever. Hey loves, on Valentine’s Day we’d like to invite you to the second edition of Endless Spill, an intimate hyperemotional gathering we’ve put together to celebrate some of our favorite musicians up close and at their weird best. This edition falls on Valentine’s Day, so we’re going to make the night the most romantic possible, not only in terms of romantic love, but also in terms of our yearning for a world in the way that we want it: one that fuses the organic and the futuristic, one that centers care, tenderness, and vulnerability, and uses the transcendent power of art for communal transformation. Ticket link in bio We’ve built the night around the NYC debut of @sage_sounds_ , whose wilting downtempo music combines ambient, dream pop, half-time, and other searching electronic vocabularies to conjure worlds of sublime nature. The music is precise and beautiful, and if you close your eyes you can be transported from the dance floor to the humid forest floor and back again. Opening the night will be the duo of Música de Tensão, followed by the beautiful sounds of @kingkroba . DJ Synclaire (@nemahan_______ and @aele___ close the evening, pulling from their broad knowledge of decades of electronic psychedelia to give us the real heart openers from across many decades and continents.
