As we wind down this Thanksgiving, we want to thank our staff for the job each one does, our clients for the opportunities and our friends and colleagues at the design firms we collaborate with. Each and every one of you is important to our success and for that, we appreciate you.
Yesterday, staff from our Fairfax office got together to enjoy a round of mini golf at @perchputt on the roof of the @capitalonecenter in Tysons. Fun was had by all, but it's up for debate if the next great putting icon was identified!
Earlier this week, Washington County, MD held a ribbon cutting for the new Public Safety Training Center's Phase One completion. ADTEK's Jeff Teagarden, the project's Structural PM, was in attendance. Public projects like the new PSTC are quite rewarding to design. The excitement shown by the folks that will utilize the facility is very satisfying. Thank you to Washington County and @cra_architects for including us on the design team.

With @frederickcountypublicschools beginning the school year today, we wanted to take a moment to wish the students, faculty, staff and parents a successful school year! As a local business in Frederick, we take immense pride in our work with the school district. As scholastic fall sports begin again, it felt like a nice time to look back at some of the athletic fields/courts we have done recently. They include the Potomack Lakes Sportsplex Soccer Lighting, Seneca Valley HS Tennis Courts and Football Field/Track, Westgate ES Baseball Field and Batting Cage and Fairmont Heights HS Football Field/Track and Basketball Courts.
These are fun projects to work on as they are sources of pride for the communities they serve!
We are excited to put the spotlight on Adam May, one of our Civil Designers. Adam works in our Frederick office and has recently celebrated his 15th anniversary with the firm!!!!!

Seeing buildings and sites go from a marketing proposal to a finished project never gets old.
