We’re so very excited to let you know of our upcoming debut release Oku. It’s being brought into the world on the wonderful @fallen_moon_recordings / @thecowartsprogram . Join us March 13th at @threesbrewinggowanus for our release show with @brianchase123 and @djibrilanddjazz . A little about the band:
Double bassists Scott Colberg (@scottcolberg ), Ari Folman-Cohen (@arifoco ) , Michael Isvara Montgomery (@montyish ), & Ran Livneh (@ran_livneh ) make up the Adnata Ensemble. The ensemble developed repertoire and discovered a musical language during the height of the pandemic. Born of a need to feel supported in such an uncertain time, the 4 musicians created an ensemble that celebrates the bass - the support & foundation of any ensemble. The group weaves together composition & sounds with a thread of improvisation.
This year has been an incredible journey for us. We released new music that we’re so proud of and had the chance to share it with amazing audiences. We’re deeply thankful for everyone who listened, supported, and encouraged us along the way—special thanks to @nick__turner@djibrilanddjazz from @thecowartsprogram and @fallen_moon_recordings .
