“Echoes”, my collaborative record with Simon Jermyn is out today. This is a very special one for me as it’s only the second record I’ve released under my own name, the first in nearly seven years. It was also recorded and produced over the past three years, a period of unprecedented change in my life. The process of working on this record has been centering for me amidst it all, a reminder of what it is that’s important and most vital to me as an artist and as a person. It’s available on all platforms as well as on cd and vinyl via the link in my bio, I hope you’ll give it a listen. Special thanks to @joshdion for his beautiful playing on two of the tracks, to @mattmarantz for the immense amount of work he put in recording and mixing the project, to @itschrisleon for mastering it and to everyone @chilltonerecords for believing in the music and their incredible support in putting it out.

Special one with Thomas and JK this past week at Close Up. We played a new seven part piece I wrote entitled “Shrines” and I wanted to share a few moments from it here. As well as some nice light. More to come from this band. Thanks to everyone who came and to Close Up for having us.

Melancholic Jog 🏃‍♂️🌀 March 23 @le_ptitours I started touring frequently as a drummer-for-hire in the early 2000s. Loved it at first, but a few years in, I discovered that if I was going to be living on the road more than half the year, I’d need to carve out a little space from the band, and they’d greatly need some space from me as well 😊. 💭 A 20–30 minute jog seemed doable to slot in between bumpy flights and never-ending soundchecks. It worked, and these slightly sad jogs brought me a wee bit of joy – endorphins were even kind of flowing 🤷‍♂️, and I could suddenly tolerate being around the band again, and they could tolerate me! The one downside (more for the band) was that I often smelled pretty bad when it was time to perform. Apologies to all of you (you know who you are) for putting up with this stinker! Fast forward to 2026 ⏩, having learned a thing or two (travel with @drbronner soap and laundry detergent eco sheets), Melancholic Jog, a trio with my hommies @cha.greve 🎷 and @lukemarantz 🎹, will be performing a little album preview show on March 23. I can’t believe it’s already the last show of our India Tour! Tonight we’re playing at the Bangalore International Centre as part of Pravāha 2026. It’s been such a pleasure sharing the music from Kadahin Milandaasin with all of you, and an absolute blast being on the road across India with this incredible band. A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported us — we sold out all four cities 🙌🏼 We can’t wait to be back in India, and we’re also looking forward to our upcoming concert dates in Germany. 39 hours in the city pt. 1 🗽 Came down to play a show with DMFAO. Christ, it was cold! Shoved our rental car into a snowbank outside the venue (Luke was impressed). Played one of my favorite shows ever with an amazing crew of humans. Caught a killer set by @skiiiteam ! (Their new album 🙌) Had fries at the Turk’s Inn (with raw onion, cabbage, hot sauce… nice touch… was too hungry to film). Woke up and waited ages for a $9 coffee at the three legged 🐈. Thankfully, it was incredible. (too tired to grab a photo) Stopped @honestweightfoodcoop halfway up I-87 for unnecessary health food items 🥑 (also missing photo). Shoutout to Sarah, Claire, Luke, Matt b, Matt s, and Val for making me a proud pretend band leader.
