Nei suggestivi locali di San Francesco delle Donne (Perugia) ha sede lo storico laboratorio di tessitura a mano, fondato nel 1921 da Giuditta Brozzetti.
La suggestiva ambientazione ed i filari di telai originali settecenteschi ed ottocenteschi lungo la navata della ex-chiesa hanno permesso la trasformazione dell’atelier in Museo-Laboratorio che nel 2004 è stato inserito nel Sistema Museale della Regione Umbria.
Oggi a più di novant’anni dalla fondazione del Laboratorio Brozzetti, Marta Cucchia, pronipote della fondatrice, realizza tessuti artistici decorativi ispirati alla grande tradizione tessile medievale e rinascimentale italiana e in particolare umbra.

Am Montag, 13. April gastieren Jonah Parzen-Johnson & Lau Nau (USA/FIN) in der Carambolage mit: „A Few We Remember”!
„A Few We Remember“ ist das Debütalbum eines besonderen neuen Duos: der finnischen Komponistin Lau Nau (Laura Naukkarinen) und des amerikanischen Baritonsaxophonisten Jonah Parzen-Johnson.
Alternano momenti di atmosfera nodosa, melodie sussurrate e innocenti armeggiamenti, mentre improvvisano su partiture narrative composte da Parzen-Johnson.
Im Zentrum steht das Erzählen von Geschichten – nicht als Handlung, sondern als Gefühl. Erinnerungen, flüchtige Begegnungen und intime Momente werden zu Klang.
Zwei eigenständige Künstler mit gemeinsam 22 Alben im Rücken finden hier zu einer neuen, überraschenden Klangsprache. Ein stilles, intensives Hörerlebnis, das weniger erklärt als spürbar macht.
Un concerto per chi ama i “silenzi” e le atmosfere rarefatte.

Listening takes center stage. A special series curated by Shhh/Peaceful and produced by Studio 33, dedicated to experimental artists and uncompromising sound.
The second event showcases the magic of Jonah Parzen-Johnson and Lau Nau. The American saxophonist and the Finnish electronic composer present their album “A Few We Remember”, released on the iconic We Jazz Records.
Expect a breathtaking journey through avant-jazz, electronic, ambient, and improvisation. The music was recorded among the Finnish fjords, absorbing the ethereal natural beauty of the landscape and built upon eight narrative scores — scripts written by Parzen-Johnson: “each one is a story you can read, but it’s more than that - it’s a trigger for a sensation. If all goes well, that’s what makes it into our improvisation. It might be tempting to ask to read the scores, but try to resist. This music isn’t about the stories; it’s about how it feels to tell them.”
The event starts early, at 3 PM, with some free coffe and water waiting for you. After the live performance, a special vinyl DJ set on the hi-fi system of the studio, curated by Pearl River Sound, head of the iconic Garbatella venue L863. Limited capacity - booking and tickets via the link in bio.
