I’ve been thinking about creativity and flow and how to access moments where magic can literally manifest ✨ TRUST is a big part of this. Working with a team where you use your voice, collaborate and inspire one another. Show them your magic + opinion and see where they take it further with their unique vision. PRESENCE. True presence. Taking in what is before you, feeling the fabric of the hair, and how it wants to move. The opportunity that presence brings and being a part of something bigger than yourself. TEAMWORK. No one does this alone. My team that day held sections of the hair and handed me pins while I wrapped and knotted this sculpture. @delinamedhin on makeup adding her touches to shape @bibisharipova ‘s face. @pspamelashepard taking care to dress the model to preserve the sculpture and finding fabrics and shapes that are just right. And @_brettwarren_ finding the angles to capture all the subtleties, making magic. Big thank you to @oribe and @tfortalia @keala_k for the creative freedom you gave us. And to @rachel_hopkinshair and @aziza.rasu 💕 I didn’t have a reference. It was moment to moment living creation, truly channeled, presence being felt through our hands to the hair. I wish I had a 360 BTS of this!
