Day 2 of the Winter Summit. Today we joined @apic_sps 2026 Legislative Day, advocating for health equity, immigrant justice, environmental justice, education, and economic equity. So proud of our youth fellows for advocating for their communities in front of government officials including some of whom may not share the same values or beliefs. They showed up. They spoke up. They stood together on the Capitol steps and met with elected officials across their legislative districts to share their concerns and what they stand for. In such a short time, they stepped into courage, voice, and collective power. Grateful to have ACL and ACA board members with us. Thank you to our Board President @sar.dixit for inspiring our youth. And it was so special to be reunited with our former ACL political organizer @travelwithtinytia and our incredible Youth Organizer Fen, who we basically threw into the fire to support Legislative Day (and absolutely rose to it 🔥). Now everyone is asleep on the bus ride back. #AYCL #YouthFellowship #YouthLeadership #YouthOrganizing #APIC LegislativeDay
