"We all do better when everyone does better." Marcia Dorwin has spent fifteen years helping SNAP fulfill that belief, as an advisor, board member, loan committee reviewer, and personal donor. She's the past president of the SNAP Financial Access Board and a current SFA board member. Marcia is one of the people who makes this organization work. As SNAP celebrates 60 years of serving Spokane, we're proud to share her story. We’d be honored if you can support our work. Make a donation now at /generous
This Community Action Month, SNAP proudly honors the brave men and women who serve and have served in the United States Armed Forces. 🇺🇸
On Armed Forces Day, we recognize the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of our service members and military families. Their commitment strengthens our communities and inspires the spirit of service that Community Action Month celebrates.
At SNAP, we believe strong communities are built through connection, compassion, and service to one another. Today, we extend our deepest gratitude to those who protect and support our nation every day.
Thank you for your service. ❤️🤍💙
🐐 A Surprise Visitor at SNAP Pacific!
A huge, heartfelt thank you to our wonderful friends at the Wishing Star Foundation for brightening our day in the most unique way possible—by sending a goat to our SNAP Pacific office!
While our new four-legged friend won't be joining the permanent staff, they certainly brought a mountain of smiles, laughter, and joy to the team today.
We love the incredible work Wishing Star does to grant wishes and support children facing life-threatening illnesses across Eastern Washington and North Idaho. It is an honor to partner with and support fellow changemakers in our community. Thank you for the surprise, the laughs, and for everything you do to bring hope to local families!

60 Years of Looking at the Big Picture 🧶
"When someone walked in... they thought they had one problem and they always had five or six... I always thought that SNAP was one of those organizations that saw the big picture instead of the small picture." For our latest installment of the SNAP Story Project, we talk with Nancy Isserlis. From her early days in legal services to her current role as President of the SNAP Financial Access Board, Nancy has seen firsthand how our services weave together like a tapestry to support our neighbors.
