Last week was all about celebrating our local heroes for Teacher and Nurse Appreciation Days. We had the best time hitting the road to say a huge "thank you" to the people who keep our community running!
We joined with @ciswashington to fuel our incredible educators with handcrafted brews from @surgecoffeeco and plenty of fun Gesa swag. We also headed to @pullmanregionalhospital to keep the celebration going, treating our hardworking nurses to a sweet delivery of legendary treats from @getdomsdonuts .
To all the teachers and nurses out there: you guys are the real MVPs. Thanks for everything you do!
Making history, one flag at a time! Proud to partner with @WIAAWA for the inaugural Women’s Flag Football Championships. New sport, same Gesa commitment to our community.
Meet our @gesapavilion Rising Artists Poster Contest winner, Mia Dehart!
Mia is a local high school student who discovered her passion for art at just 11 years old while spending time at her grandparents’ house. Ever since, she’s loved diving into her creativity through drawing.
She’s now exploring exciting future paths — from cosmetology school to becoming a tattoo artist!
You’ll start seeing Mia’s artwork displayed throughout the park, and we couldn’t be more proud to showcase her talent.
Congratulations, Mia! 🎉🖼️✨
“I love working at Gesa Credit Union because it is a credit union that truly cares for its members and employees. My favorite part is being engaged in the communities that we serve. It is rewarding to help members with their financial needs while also working for a credit union that gives back into their communities.”
There are rewarding opportunities here for people with the same caring mindset. Apply now at gesa.com

We couldn’t be prouder to celebrate Emily Waters and Scarlett Lambert for their incredible dedication to Gesa. From managing high school credit unions to crushing their internships, these two have gone above and beyond.
Huge congrats to Emily on her $8,000 President’s Choice Award as she heads to Eastern University, and to Scarlett on her $5,500 scholarship before she takes on Penn State! It was fun surprising them with balloons, trophies, and their school faculty.
Serving those who served—one bagel at a time. 🥯✨
Matthew Leslie organized a Local Hero Drop for the Idaho State Veteran’s Home in Post Falls with Panera bagels & coffee—and we came through with Gesa swag, too! 💙🇺🇸
🍎✨ Celebrating a Teacher Who Makes a Difference ✨🍎
One of the most meaningful traditions of the Spokane Lilac Festival is our Teacher of the Year recognition—chosen by our Royalty to honor the educators who have truly impacted their lives.
👑 Princess Ava Payne proudly recognized her Teacher of the Year from East Valley High School—Christi Chang, a teacher who has inspired, supported, and made a lasting difference both in and out of the classroom,
Because of partners like Gesa Credit Union, we’re able to honor the incredible educators who are shaping the future of our community—one student at a time.
Thank you for the passion, dedication, and heart you bring to your students every single day—you are shaping futures and strengthening our community.
👏 Join us in congratulating this incredible educator!
