We are seeing many new faces on here so allow us to reintroduce ourselves! 📣 ACCESS RJ is your friendly, neighborhood California abortion fund; we remove barriers to accessing reproductive health care. Let your communities know that we are here to support: safely and without stigma 💜
Anti-abortion extremists are at it again 🙄 But we are here to remind you that Mifepristone (and abortion medication in general!) is safe and effective. And it has been around for decades! 📣 As of today, May 6, 2026, communities can still access medication abortion with Mifepristone and Misoprostol by mail in all 50 states. Let’s empower our communities with facts, not fear. 💜
No matter what the courts decide, our Healthline remains open – eliminating barriers to abortion, sexual and reproductive healthcare, and gender-affirming care for our callers. ☎️

This federal administration uses the guise of “safety and crime prevention” to justify their racist, anti-immigrant agenda. We don’t buy it, and we won’t fall for it. In California, ACCESS Reproductive Justice knows firsthand that mutual aid, organizing, resource sharing, and community care is what actually keeps us safe.

Modern gynecology was built on the bodies of enslaved Black women. Anarcha, Betsy, and Lucy were forced to undergo repeated experimental surgeries by J. Marion Sims, without anesthesia and without consent.
Their suffering was erased.
His legacy was celebrated.
During Women’s History Month, we honor Anarcha, Betsy, and Lucy by sharing their names and their stories.
Michelle Browder is an artist 🎨 & the director of @iammorethan1 youth empowerment initiative. She created a beautiful sculpture, titled Mothers of Gynocology. It stands in Montgomery, Alabama and recenters the narrative, uplifting the women whose bodies made gynecology possible.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Black History Month. ✨ Black history is not separate from reproductive justice — it's foundational to it. The Reproductive Justice framework was coined by Black women activists in 1994. The narrow framing of the women’s rights movement, led by and representing middle-class and wealthy white women, was not inclusive of the lived experiences of Black women, women of color, other marginalized women, and trans people.
Reproductive Justice means the right to bodily autonomy and the right to raise our families in safe, supported communities. 💜 Access to gender affirming care for queer and transgender people is an integral part of Reproductive Justice and our vision for collective liberation. It is healthcare. It is dignity. It is survival.
