a microscopic journey of epic proportions! Windmill’s award-winning Moss Piglet returns to Adelaide, taking audiences on a microscopic adventure into the wild world of tardigrades, the toughest little beings on Earth. Found everywhere from couch cushions to the deep sea, these near-indestructible “water bears” have survived extreme heat, freezing cold, radiation, and even space. Basically, they’re science’s most unexpected superheroes! Expect a high-energy mix of wicked puppetry, dance battles, live video and green screen magic in a joyful science-theatre experience full of curiosity and hope. This accessible performance features Audio Description with touch tour, Auslan and is wheelchair accessible. Where: Space Theatre, Adelaide Festival Centre. When: 2 May 2026 at 12:30pm. To book tickets and for Audio Described pre-show notes follow the link in our bio. [Image: Description in alt text.]

Launching on Trans Day of Visibility and at the start of Autism Awareness Month, Bex’s exhibition ‘Swimming toward ourselves’ is both deeply personal and timely. Through Life Without Barriers' (@lwbaustralia ) Living Arts program, Bex continued to explore their creativity and self-expression. This practice led to the creation of a body of work celebrating LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent themes. "It has been wonderful to watch Bex grow and reconnect with their creative self throughout this journey and our sessions together over the past year," shared Phi Theodoros, Lead Resident Artist, Living Arts program. Follow the link in our bio to view the digital exhibition! [Image: Bex and Phi kneel either side of the artworks displayed on a white wall.
