We would like to say a huge thank you and farewell to our outgoing Company Director, Sean Pardy. Sean has been a cherished member of the team for the past 2.5 years, ushering the company into its new Artistic Leadership structure. We will miss your dad jokes, your watchful eye over the printer, and your inner-conflict between anti-establishment artist and fiscal manager. We wish you all the best in your future artistic, professional and parenting adventures, and hope we will see you frequently in the studio. Love, the Tracks team.

More 90s nostalgia for your Friday! In 1993 the community dance program at Brown's Mart Community Arts was renamed to Tracks Dance Collective, with five founding members: Sarah Calver, David McMicken, Tim Newth, Berenice Franklin, and Lisa Campbell, (later becoming Tracks Dance Company). 1993 was a formative year for Tracks, as we developed our philosophies, and recognised and promoted that which is particularly Territorian about our work. More info and credits in first comment.

Tracks is thrilled to welcome Alana James as our new Company Director. Alana is a strategic and compassionate not-for-profit leader with more than a decadeโ€™s experience in the community sector. Alana grew up dancing, has performed in Darwin as a burlesque artist and emcee, and was part of the 2026 Tracks ChoreoLab cohort. When sheโ€™s not at work, Alana loves a karaoke sing-a-long, sewing and other arts and crafts, and spending time in nature. Please join us in welcoming @missalanajames to the Tracks team! We may have missed the trend, but 90s nostalgia never goes out of style. This was Tracks in 1992. It would actually be another year before the company would become Tracks, but this was the first year David McMicken came up and worked with Tim Newth and Sarah Calver at what was then Brown's Mart Community Arts. From this collaboration, Tracks would be born. Were you there? Let us know! Information about the shows and performers in the comments.
