@_tprojects_ are so delighted to see @abdul_abdullah ‘Come Together’ now fully installed at Arden Station! The stunning artwork features two striking aluminium hands that reach across a beautiful mosaic background. Abdul Abdullah’s work is inspired by J.S. Calder’s painting, ‘View from Royal Park across West Melbourne Swamp’ (1860), which represents the coming together of various communities connected to the Arden area, from the First Peoples of the Kulin Nation to future generations. ‘I grew up next to a train station and I always saw it as a nexus point of different communities coming together! - Abdul Abdullah T Projects developed the creative strategy for Metro Tunnel & led the public art commissioning through to artist concept selection. We’re excited to be able to share images of the creation and final install of "Inner Guidance", a major public artwork by First Nations artist Jody Rallah, situated within the entrance gardens of Peninsula University Hospital. Embedded into the hospital’s arrival landscape, the artwork brings cultural storytelling, materiality and place into dialogue. Drawing on First Nations knowledge systems and deep relationships to Country, Inner Guidance reflects themes of transformation, resilience and healing—offering a grounded and welcoming presence for patients, visitors and staff as they enter the hospital grounds. Fabricated by @five_mile_radius using 100% recycled materials, the work speaks to intergenerational knowledge, ecological awareness and the stories carried within land and water. Positioned near spaces of gathering and reflection, the artwork creates a moment of pause - acknowledging the hospital as a site of care, memory and continuity. T Projects are happy to share some images of the installation and completion of Whispers of the Wetland, a major new public artwork by Hannah Quinlivan for the main reception of Peninsula University Hospital. Spanning the main reception space, the work reflects the resilience and healing power of water, honouring the nearby Carrum Carrum Wetlands through finely handcrafted aluminium forms and a complementary mural. Fabricated by hand and assembled in sections, the sculptural elements weave delicacy and strength—echoing the rhythms of wetland ecologies and the quiet movement of water. Installed as part of the hospital’s broader public art vision, Whispers of the Wetland creates a moment of pause and reflection at the heart of a place of care, welcoming patients, visitors and staff with a sense of calm, continuity and connection to Country. T Projects are very proud to share some images of "The Pillar", the first-ever public artwork by artist Dan Elborne, now installed within the entrance gardens of Peninsula University Hospital. Standing as both a sculptural landmark and a gathering point, "The Pillar" is made up of hundreds of individually handcrafted ceramic elements, many bearing the marks of patients, visitors, hospital staff and local community members who took part in a series of incredibly popular community workshops. Together, the hospital community contributed over 300 individual tile designs, under Dan’s guidance, to form a collective artwork shaped by care, connection and shared experience. Embedded within the hospital’s arrival landscape, the work reflects themes of healing, resilience and belonging. Grounded in material processes and community participation, "The Pillar" offers a welcoming presence—acknowledging the hospital as a place shaped by people, stories and collective memory.
