I can’t wait for you all to meet this character — GIGI ☀️✨ When I began creating her, I knew a lot hinged on her in this story. She could not be cliché or stereotypical. As with all my characters, every visible trait had to serve the story and the character’s nature, internal state, and journey. After that came the search for the actor who would embody her perfectly. I always try to balance star strength with story need, and for my faith-based projects, I pray through the casting process. God chose Treasure @_threashure The moment she arrived on set, I knew she was Gigi — effortlessly charming everyone around her. She gave the role everything she had and even earned a nomination for her performance at the prestigious ICFF, where the jury included Hollywood filmmakers. I draw great encouragement from feats like this because every outstanding performance by an actor proves that talent and craft thrive on the foundation of a strong script and the right directing.
