Transfolk WA is a peer-led organisation supporting trans and gender diverse people across WA. Jase Jeffery Jase is the founder and resident of @bent.hedonism — a queer-centred day rave and record label based in Manchester, raising funds for LGBTQIA+ and humanitarian causes. The ethos is simple: to platform queer minorities and champion community. With over 12 years behind the decks, Jase’s journey has taken him from his hometown of Boorloo to the beating heart of the north-west UK’s electronic scene, Manchester. His sound — shaped by dance floors across the UK, Europe, and Australia — draws deeply from the seminal eras of rave. Expect an evolving blend of breaks, acid house, UK bass, EBM, broken beat, and electro, delivered with an ear for energy and emotion. Brie & Cooper Cooper Brie is one of the most thoughtful contributors to the Boorloo scene. Along with partner in crime, scam wife, through their @circuit.central_ parties, they have tastefully curated a string of events making them an integral pillar of the community. Brie brings this same discerning care to his sets, guiding the dance floor through twists and turns to right where we need to be. His closing set at @odd.vim.do exemplified this thoughtfulness, bringing smiles and spontaneous group hugs across the dance floor. Cooper Cooper always knows the vibe needed, no matter the situation or setting - be it a perfectly timed curve ball during a peak time gooch week set, or a low slung wobbler in a smoked out warehouse during witching hour, Cooper always leaves you wondering, what's gonna happen next... Being huge fans of Brie and Cooper we have had this b2b on our wish list for a long time and are super excited to see where they take us in their sonic worlds during their extended vinyl set. We're back at everyone's favourite courtyard, The Bird, Sunday 22 Feb Two of our favourite vinyl aficionados Brie & Cooper Cooper will be gracing us with their first ever b2b. We are beyond excited to see what wonky Alchemy they cook up during their extended set. Fresh off the plane from Manchester, Jase Jeffery, head honcho of raucous queer party and label @bent.hedonism will be serving up sexy and gritty selections from his deep knowledge and love of dance music. undercling & rory are coming together under their b2b alias, sidepull, to explore their shared love of chilled percussive dubs n wubs to ease us through the warmth of the bunnuru afternoon. Ok okkkkk been a minute and this is way way overdue. Sorry, we went on vacay / been procrastinating because we wanted to express our gratitude eloquently but am trying to realise that perfectionism is a trap of inaction. Anyway enough therapy speak Thank you so so much to everyone who came through and contributed to making such a cute n fun party.  Redame is a long defunct verb that means to love in return, and we were very much feeling the love from everyone. Thanks for the support and bringing such great vibes.  Together we raised $1000 for First Nations Climate Change resilience, and Sudan conflict refugees!  Huge thankyou to the DJs who played hottt sets and donated to the cause. Most b2bing together for the first time, the fun they were so clearly having behind the decks radiated into the crowd and magnified. While today is ofc about having a fun boog with friends, we're contributing to impactful action whilst doing so. All profits are going to two very important causes - First Nations climate change justice in the Torres Strait Islands, and Sudan conflict refugees. @ourislandsourhome is a Torres Strait Islander-led climate justice campaign to ensure they can remain on their islands. The islands, people and their cultures are on the frontline of the climate crisis, and the campaign works to push the Australian Government to action. @awafy_org is a youth-led Sudanese NGO working to bring relief to refugees of the now 3yr conflict. 11m people have been displaced, making it the worst displacement crisis in the world. The death toll has been estimated at as many as 400k. Accessing the conflict areas to deliver aid is extremely dangerous and difficult, and AWAFY is one of the few NGOs getting to the people in most need.
