The last worms of the warmth slip under Lydith’s baked earth. On the far side of the soggy solstice, where the wild flowers are, Odd Vim blooms with the Do. Friday 18 September - Monday 21 September, this year, on Ballardong country. If you bought a ticket last time, keep an eye on your inbox, we’ll be sending you something sweet this week : ) 📷 @professor___b

Summer’s had its way with the Beverley hills. Sucked the knoll bone dry, it has. What was once greener pastures now sports a healthy tan. Oo la la! The nexus, azure, anchored in a bronze whirlpool... 📷 @professor___b

As the spinning has slowed and as the norm's slunk back into the daily, we miss it out there more and more. We hope you've settled into your spring happenings softly and look forward to sharing in the joy of reflection over the coming season. While the site rests and we continue to finalise, we digitised the humble Winkel. We've had a lot of requests for shirts, so we're doing a short run of pre-orders for those who missed out. The festival's garbs are available to order through our website until early November, after which they'll be printed and distributed pronto. Shirts design by Natal Zaks for Odd Vim Do. 📷 @hannahwoolley_

In the wake of Odd Vim Do, we hope you’re also feeling the impact and importance of these intimate social spaces and shared experiences. We ask you to think critically before posting content online in an effort to protect the longevity of our sacred dancefloors and to respect what can be deeply personal experiences for those who were there. Most importantly, please refrain from posting videos of the dancefloor. Thankyou everyone, for your unique part in it. Keep it real and carry the odd vim with you.

House rules: - No butts in the bush. Put them out and in the bin. - No phones on the dancefloor. This is really important. Be present and keep the space sacred. We’d also love for you not to splash content online. - Clean up after yourself AND others if need be. We’re in it together. - Be curious. Be safe. Be kind. - You miiight want boots.

She has almost arrived. Here are some more important bits. Eating and drinking: Keeping the fire burning this weekend we have serial grillers Clinton Fox and Ben Taaffe - AKA Salad Boys - with their pop-up bush kitchen, Feedin’ Time. Services are as follows: Fri: 3PM-9PM Sat: 12PM-7PM Sun: morning VE/VGN/NF/GF options available on request! And! Hometown heroes from Goods Bakery throw their crowd favourite sweeties and toasted sambos into the mix for the Saturday AM service. Our little Winkel will be flipping all sorts of goods, but certainly snacks and fizzy drinks. Find it in The Meadow. BYO snacks and booze (No glass), but be reasonable eh! Bring with you: - A cup for your coffee and a refillable water bottle. We’re not providing vessels. - Thermal underwear and an extra blanky. - Mozzie repellant and long sleeves. They kinda cray rn. - Extra clothes to donate to the Kiez Eck, our very own verschenken. (Seriously, chuck in an old hat or coat... You will see) Address: Coming soon. Keep an eye on emails and spam.

Has your mate accidentally turned themselves into a lizard? Our caregiving guardian angel fairies, The Keepers, are your first port of call. Our volunteer wellbeing team tend to the gentle edges of Odd Vim Do and roam the site in pairs, keeping watch over the goings-on and offering support where it’s needed. If you need some time out, you can find The Keeper’s Tent in The Meadow, between the big tree and the tires. The Keeper’s Tent is a monitored low stim zone during peak times. A space for people who feel like they need a rest, to rest. If you’re feeling unsafe, or unwell, or unsure, or just need someone to talk to, The Keepers are identifiable by their vests and prepared to assist you or connect you with someone who can.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 We're really sorry to those who missed out, but there are no doorsales for this one. The address will be sent to all ticketholder emails later this week. It's an easy drive but Waze takes you a strange route on the way here, use Google maps instead. Beverley rocks and the locals are really friendly. Take a moment to eat a pie, stock up on supplies (check opening hours!) and acclimatise to the Wheatbelt. Gate entry times (𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀): Friday: 10AM to midnight Saturday: 9AM to 10PM Once you arrive and park, you stay parked until you leave for the weekend. No pass outs or re-entry. All vehicles require a car pass or camping vehicle pass. You can get one through our website. 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 Tent camping and vehicle camping are seperated (but still close to eachother). Vehicle camping includes things like campervans, roof tents or cars for sleeping in. We don't want anyone run over, so you can't park next to your tent. Sorry! 𝗚𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 The program finishes at 12PM on Sunday and you need to be off site by 7PM unless you are volunteering for breakdown. Please take time to rest before you leave. Designated drivers carry a huge responsibility. If you aren't ready to drive, come talk to us.

It's about time to be getting ready for next weekend. We'll be rolling out more info until then but you can always get the full rundown on our website. Remember: You’re going camping and dancing. Outdoors. In springtime. At the very least, you really should bring: - Valid Australian ID. - A reusable waterbottle for water refills. - Clothes and camping gear suited for hot sun, wet rain, and rugged turf. It gets really cold out there at night. Check the forecast! - A responsible amount of canned/boxed booze, if you like that sort of stuff. No alcohol will be sold on site and glass is banned. - Snacks (we'll share the festival food menu soon) - A headtorch and earplugs!!! - Insect repellant and sunscreen. You definitely can't bring: - Glass containers. - Generators, sound systems or excessively large portable speakers. - Excessive amounts of alcohol. - Illegal substances. - Nangs. - Fireworks, flares, or open flames. Small gas stoves are okay. - Pets. - Glitter, doof sticks, flags, flashing RGB toys. Pack smart and prepare eagerly.

A duet of wonderous weekends on site. Thanks be to those two who work with wood, a second deck has sprouted between the wandoo. Cobwebs were dusted in the heady quarters, Odd Vim Do's musical nexus-to-be was lined up and framed, a couple steps out of a dirty staircase were etched into the ridge, and we built a temporary receptacle for our Odd Vim Poo. Those were the days. The night's were hosted by a well stoked blaze in a tight tin box, plates of curry, and for those so inclined: Beers. Sound like your sort of time well spent? We're still growing and we could use your help indeed. We reckon you'd like it out here. Click "I'm interested in volunteering." on our website to get started. All discounts and refunds will be processed at the end. You need a ticket to volunteer BUT if you don't have one, don't be deterred - we have a small number of tickets set aside for this and would love to hear from you.

Yesterday evening, precisely one calendar month before we step inside out of the ordinary, the last of our tickets went up in a puff of smoke. We're really sorry if you missed out and were hoping to come, that feeling sucks. Please keep an eye on Tixel for resales and you may well get your hands on one yet - link's on our website. No door sales. To say we're humbled, grateful, and brimming with a newfound vivacious vim of our own doesn't cut it. With the formalities out the way, the only thing left to do is to feed and pamper this beautiful beast - and enjoy it for all it's worth. We'll see you out there in one-month-less-one-day's time. 'Til then, keep it real.
